Reflexology and Headaches

Headaches are very common and Reflexology can help in many ways by relaxing and oxygenating the body, stimulating the digestive system and helping to rebalance the whole body. If headaches are a part of premenstrual tension then Reflexology can help to ease the effects on the body during this time.

Headaches and migraines can vary from person to person, some people experience headaches on and off for years whereas others could experience pain for a just a few seconds. Headaches can be a result of numerous things, misalignment in the spine, eye strain, stress, premenstrual tension, dehydration, blocked sinuses, lack of exercise, poor posture or blood sugar imbalances.

Scientific studies have assessed how Reflexology can help with headaches and in a study undertaken in Denmark with 220 patients taking part, over 81% said that Reflexology had either cured or helped their headaches.

Reflexology can relax the body and by working the areas that correspond to the head as well as an all over body(through the feet) headaches can be releaved and prevented.  Please feel free to contact me should you wish to make an enquiry or book a treatment.
